Security Management

XCess: from access control to security management

XCess (eXpert acCess system) is an advanced system for security management. Using a single badge, biometric reader or virtual terminal, you can integrate:

  • access control
  • camera surveillance (CCTV)
  • biometrics
  • burglar and fire detection

XCess can be used on a Microsoft platform and boasts open system architecture. It is built in modules, allowing you to start with a basic version. Depending on your needs and questions, you can always add more modules as you go along.
This solution can be used by small to extremely large organisations, even when the different branches are far apart.

  • XCess uses GET’s standard BLITS badge reader network
BLITS offers a very wide range of badge readers, control units and reader technologies. One of the many options is the use of biometric readers, which recognise fingerprints and irises.
With the BLITS badge reader network, you can control various obstacles including access doors, turnstiles, tourniquets, drums or barriers. You can set all the parameters of your badge reader network through a web interface. And this means quick and easy service, even from a distance.

  • Attendance management
By defining specific parameters for a badge reader, you can see whether someone is present or absent.
You can use a web report to request an attendance list.
Thanks to zone work and anti-passback, a wide range of selection and reporting options is available.
